The Morning Before Opening Night

I am thrilled to be participating in the SummerWorks Festival and so excited to be opening tonight. It has been a long process and having just moved from Ottawa it is wonderful to be a part of something as big as SummerWorks. I haven’t been able to sleep. I’m up real early and it is just so very almost overwhelming but not quite because I’m not debilitated or anything I’m just buzzing so I think I’m just very overwhelmed by the whole situation. I would love to have audiences see the show. With all modesty, it is a very good show; with dedicated actors – hell they’re all doing it for free and they don’t have to, an amazing and supportive crew, fantastic musicians and music and it’s just all so amazing to see it put together.
This is my first blog post and I know I must be rambling but it’s early, it’s new, it’s overwhelming, and it’s from a dazed but open heart! Come see the show and I’m so very happy to talk with you about it after.
